Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Emory Healthcare. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing complex ultrasound procedures to ensure high-quality diagnostic scans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and analyze 2-D, M-Mode, and Doppler Echocardiograms to identify cardiac disorders
  • Schedule and prepare patients for exams, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Provide quality patient care, communicating effectively with patients and families
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of education materials and protocols
Requirements
  • Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiac Credentialing International
  • Minimum of three years clinical experience, with two years in the area of concentration
  • BLS certification required
