Tax Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing our company's tax planning and compliance with a keen eye for accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the company's tax compliance, ensuring all tax returns and reports are accurately prepared and submitted on time.
  • Conduct thorough tax planning and research to identify opportunities for minimizing tax liabilities and ensuring financial efficiency.
  • Provide strategic tax advisory services to the management, offering insights on tax implications of business decisions.
  • Handle financial reporting and accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Stay updated with changing tax laws and regulations, and ensure the company's tax policies and procedures are updated accordingly.
  • Manage corporate tax, indirect taxation, international tax, and real estate tax matters.
  • Handle tax accounting for C Corp and passthrough entities.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, and tax projections.
  • Liaise with tax authorities and external auditors, representing the company during tax audits and investigations.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification will be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in public Accounting, including experience as a Tax Manager.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting, tax preparation, tax compliance, tax planning, and financial accounting.
  • Extensive experience in corporate tax, tax accounting, tax returns, tax research, tax advisory, indirect taxation, international tax, C Corp, passthrough, and real estate tax matters.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, with the ability to stay updated with changing tax laws and implications.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic tax advice.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams, management, tax authorities, and external auditors.
  • High level of integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially and ethically.
