Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Lateral Conflicts Attorney to join our team at Dentons US LLP. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing conflicts information provided by lateral candidates firmwide. This is a remote position that requires strong analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze conflicts information provided by lateral candidates
Identify potential conflict issues and provide conflict resolutions
Utilize internal and external databases to review and analyze conflicts of interest reports
Facilitate resolution of potential conflicts issues for incoming portable work
Advise on necessary waivers and assist in drafting engagement letters and other documentation
Requirements
JD and licensed to practice law with at least 3 years of legal experience
Prior experience working with law firms or corporate legal departments
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work productively with firm personnel at all levels
Strong legal research skills and ability to stay current with recent research and thinking on ethics and conflicts best practices
