Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced RN Oncology Nurse to work with our multidisciplinary team in delivering world-class care to patients with various types of cancer. The successful candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing personalized care that meets the unique needs of each patient.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to oncology patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other therapies as prescribed by physicians and according to established protocols.
- Monitor patients' responses to treatments and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A current Washington State Registered Nurse license.
- At least one year of experience working in oncology nursing or a related field.
- Strong clinical skills, including knowledge of chemotherapy administration, wound care, and symptom management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
