This is a contract to hire opportunity for a Phlebotomist with potential for permanent placement. The position is located in Seattle, WA, and the schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with a projected duration of 6 months or more.

Position Responsibilities:

As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting and storing specimens according to established procedures. This includes explaining the process of venipuncture and other specimen collection methods to patients, demonstrating proper technique, and ensuring accurate labeling and processing of specimens.

You will also be responsible for matching laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes, labeling, centrifuging, splitting, and freezing specimens as required by test order. Additionally, you will package specimens for transport and store them according to required temperature.

Minimum Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have a valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed, a minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. A High School Diploma or GED is also required, as well as 2-4 years of experience.
