About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team in Central Ohio. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform construction materials testing (CMT) services on construction project sites in central Ohio
  • Work as a quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) inspector on construction projects
  • Inspect and test construction materials, including concrete, masonry, asphalt, soils, and reinforcing steel
  • Review project plans and specifications to determine contractor construction requirements
  • Prepare daily and other reports of contractor performance
  • Identify deficiencies and report to superiors and clients
  • Communicate effectively with on-site personnel and engineering staff
  • Follow all applicable Health & Safety policies and procedures

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Physical strength, stamina, and dexterity for lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and technical documents
  • Familiarity with construction sites and practices a plus
  • Travel to project sites daily in company provided vehicle
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to work extended and/or non-traditional work hours
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
