We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Specialist to join our team at Intermountain Health in Provo, Utah. As an essential member of our respiratory therapy department, you will provide advanced-level care to patients, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to diagnose, evaluate, treat, and manage cardiopulmonary system deficiencies.

Job Overview:

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week, with flexible scheduling to accommodate on-call responsibilities. You will be expected to prioritize patient care needs, work independently, and maintain accurate records while demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.

About the Role:

As a Respiratory Care Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing respiratory care procedures in response to patient needs and physician orders.
  • Evaluating, monitoring, and maintaining patient care within established guidelines.
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited institution, specifically in respiratory therapy.
  • Current state licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
  • Registration with the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
  • Experience working in customer service or home healthcare environments, showcasing exceptional customer service skills.
  • A reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and acceptable driving record.
