Executive Pastry Confectioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our culinary team at LaBelle Winery.

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for pastry design, excellent time management skills, and a keen eye for detail.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the pastry section of our kitchen, preparing a variety of baked goods, decorating and presenting pastries and baked goods in a tasteful and beautiful way, and ensuring the bakery section adheres to health and safety regulations.

• Manage the pastry section of our kitchen, including operating and maintaining equipment, and monitoring inventory levels.
• Create and implement new seasonal recipes and menus, staying up-to-date with the latest trends in pastry design.
• Work closely with other chefs to coordinate dessert offerings with the main menu.
• Train and guide pastry assistants to ensure high-quality standards are met.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Pastry Chef.
• Certificate in culinary arts or similar relevant field.
• Strong passion for pastry design and creativity.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.

• Ability to walk/stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced food/wine environment.
• Must be able to climb stairs and perform physical tasks as required.

Full-time position, weekends/holidays/days included. Estimated salary: $59,000 - $60,000 annually based on experience.
