As a Pediatric Neuropsychologist at ChildServe, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families. Your expertise in neuropsychology assessment, testing, diagnosis, and clinical treatment services will be invaluable in helping us deliver comprehensive care to our patients.

You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based treatments and interventions that address the unique needs of each child. Your strong communication skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with colleagues, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough neuropsychological evaluations of children and young adults using best practice guidelines
  • Diagnosing and treating conditions involving injury to the central nervous system
  • Communicating assessment results with child, family, and other appropriate parties
  • Developing recommendations consistent with assessment findings and child goals
  • Devising and implementing appropriate treatment programs
  • Providing direct and consultative neuropsychological evaluations and treatments as part of the interdisciplinary team for the inpatient rehabilitation program
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A doctoral degree in Neuropsychology
  • State of Iowa Psychology license
  • Board Certified in Neuropsychology
  • Two years of licensed practice experience
  • Experience working with children and adolescents preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking the English language
