**About the Role**

The Learning and Development Coordinator will play a key role in planning, implementing, and evaluating training and development programs for our community members, staff, and volunteers at Steele Creek Community Place.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Support:
    • Assist in designing and developing training materials, including presentations, manuals, and handouts.
    • Help coordinate and schedule training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
    • Provide logistical support for training events, including room setup, equipment management, and participant registration.
  • Training and Development:
    • Support the delivery of training programs, including facilitating sessions and providing hands-on assistance.
    • Assist in creating and implementing learning assessments to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
    • Help track and manage training records, including attendance and feedback.
  • Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct research on best practices and emerging trends in learning and development.
    • Assist in evaluating the needs of the community, staff, and volunteers to identify areas for development and improvement.
    • Analyze feedback and performance data to provide recommendations for program enhancements.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide general administrative support, including maintaining training files and documentation.
    • Assist with the onboarding process for new staff and volunteers, including preparing orientation materials and scheduling initial training.
    • Support communication efforts related to training and development, including drafting announcements and updates.
  • Special Projects:
    • Contribute to special projects related to organizational development and employee engagement.
    • Help develop and implement new initiatives aimed at enhancing professional growth and development within the organization and training offerings to the community.
