We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care team at Mercy Hospital Ardmore. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in our Medical ICU and Intermediate Care Units.

Job Summary

This is a full-time (36 hours/week) night shift position that offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including up to $15,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and a stay premium program. As a Critical Care Nurse at Mercy, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals who share a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in our Medical ICU and Intermediate Care Units
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans
  • Perform various medical procedures, including NGT placement, foley placement, and PIV placement
  • Assist physicians with Central Line placement, Arterial Line placement, Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Chest Tube placement, Temporary Pacemaker placement, bedside Bronchoscopy, and bedside GI procedures
Requirements
  • Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
  • Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
