We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Bethesda Health, where you will provide essential nursing care to geriatric residents. With a focus on delivering exceptional patient care, you will assess and document residents' conditions, communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team, and administer medications and treatments as needed.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, time management abilities, and physical stamina to perform daily tasks. A commitment to staying up-to-date with best nursing practices and knowledge of Bethesda's policies is essential. Responsibilities:
  • Assess and document residents' conditions, participating in their care planning.
  • Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team and residents' families.
  • Administer medications and treatments in a safe and timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of interventions and assessments.
Requirements:
  • Degree from an accredited school of nursing resulting in becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Current LPN license in the state of employment.
  • CPR and AED certification required, or willingness to obtain within six months.
  • IV certification required, or willingness to obtain within six months.
  • Long-term care experience preferred.
Salary:

$65,000 per annum, based on experience.
