Endoscopy Technician II

At Houston Methodist, we are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician II to join our team. As a proficient Endo Tech, you will provide high-quality support to our gastroenterology (GI) providers and other members of the healthcare team.

• Assist with the preparation of GI endoscopy procedures, including cleaning and high-level disinfection processing of endoscopes and accessory equipment.
• Anticipate physician needs during endoscopy procedures and assist with the clean-up of the endoscopy suite.
• Act as a mentor to Endo Tech I's, utilizing your skills and knowledge to help train and orient others.
• Collaborate with all members of the interprofessional healthcare team by actively communicating and reporting pertinent patient care information and data.
• Facilitate open, professional communication to achieve mutual understanding and role model by example.

• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• Three years of experience as an Endoscopy Technician.
• BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA) certification.
• Sufficient proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing the English language.
