FSA Federal is seeking a highly skilled Training Technician to support the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) in delivering unsurpassed services in support of law enforcement and homeland security.

In this role, you will be responsible for gathering information needed by customers to develop initial and follow-on curricula, developing training material, organizing schedules, and providing logistical support for training. You will also conduct training and maintain training records, regularly review and update existing training to ensure policy, regulatory, legal, and system changes are included in the training curricula, and publish periodic training and information advisories.

Responsibilities
  • Gather information needed by customers to develop initial and follow-on curricula.
  • Develop training material, organize schedules, and provide logistical support for training.
  • Conduct training and maintain training records.
  • Regularly review and update existing training to ensure policy, regulatory, legal, and system changes are included in the training curricula.
  • Publish periodic training and information advisories.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED; Undergraduate degree preferred.
  • Three years demonstrated ability in coordinating and managing training programs.
  • Ability to grasp and understand the organization and functions of the customer.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills; strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills; oral and written.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other common software applications and databases, intermediate skills preferred.
  • Proven commitment and competence to provide excellent customer service; positive and flexible.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a professional disposition.
