Join our faculty at Saint Xavier University as a full-time Lead Speech Language Pathology Faculty Member. This role is a perfect opportunity to utilize your skills and experience in clinical service delivery, academic teaching, and supervision of students in the Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) Program.

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced speech-language pathologist with a Master's degree or higher to join our faculty team. The ideal candidate will have at least 9 months of experience in clinical service delivery and hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Illinois state licensure through the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) is also required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in the CSD program at both undergraduate and graduate levels
  • Supervise clinical practicum students in on-campus and off-site locations throughout Chicagoland
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students and clients
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to advance the mission and goals of the CSD program
Requirements
  • Master's degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Illinois state licensure through IDFPR
  • Minimum 9 months of experience in clinical service delivery
  • Recent speech language pathology practice preferred
