Job Title: Pump Operator w/CDL

We are seeking a highly skilled Pump Operator w/CDL to join our team at Steel Partners LLC. As a Pump Operator w/CDL, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our workover rigs, ensuring the safe and efficient completion of oil and gas well services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain workover rigs, including drilling, pumping, and well control equipment.
  • Conduct daily pre-job safety meetings and ensure compliance with company safety procedures.
  • Lead the rig crew in the rigging up and rigging down of the workover rig, and perform post-rig up inspections.
  • Direct the assigned floor hands and derrick hands to safely perform service tasks contracted by clients.
  • Document services performed, billable supplies used, and time elapsed while performing contracted services.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Floor Hand or Derrick Hand.
  • Advanced problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal skills, and verbal/written English communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Class B CDL license to drive workover rigs (not required but encouraged).

Please note that this is a physically demanding role that requires standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods. The ability to pass a company pre-employment exam, including a drug screen and physical, is also required.
