Data Engineering at Cardinal Health

Data Engineering at Cardinal Health is responsible for ensuring raw data is usable and accessible for the organization. This role encompasses numerous specialties of data acquisition, integration, and provisioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage analytic data platforms
  • Design and implement reporting/business intelligence solutions
  • Apply advanced quantitative modeling

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of engineering experience in Data Analytics and Data Integration related fields
  • 3+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, etc
  • 1+ years of hands-on GCP experience in Data Engineering and Cloud Analytics solutions
  • Experience with data platforms including GCP (DataProc, Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Airflow) or similar cloud experience
  • Demonstrated expertise of database design and modeling
  • Advanced knowledge of BI Reporting and Data Discovery tools (Alteryx, Tableau, Python) or equivalent
  • Experience on large-scale implementation programs preferred
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies
  • Attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
