Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality and care is taken to exceed customer expectations and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pull and cut designated materials using a two-headed industrial saw per the customer's order.
  • Select the appropriate color, length, and materials for the individual order.
  • Inspect the door frame to ensure that it is free of defects and scratches.
  • Work at a pace that meets or exceeds daily production goals.
  • Recognize when parts are missing or installed incorrectly.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Positive attitude; self-motivated.
  • Reliable and well-disciplined; ability to work well with others and follow instructions.
  • The ability to use basic mathematics including fractions for measuring, cutting, and calculating lengths and widths of materials.
  • The ability to use basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and drills.
Work Environment

The work environment is climate-controlled, and the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Exposure to intermediate/loud noise is expected when working in the manufacturing environment.
