Job Summary

We are seeking a Dining Services Associate to join our team at Geisinger. As a key member of our food service staff, you will be responsible for ensuring that patients and visitors receive exceptional dining experiences. In this role, you will perform routine tasks related to food portioning and serving, cleaning of tableware and equipment, and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food in accordance with established guidelines and procedures
  • Clean and sanitize food service areas, including tables, chairs, and equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and health regulations
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and patient satisfaction
  • Adhere to all quality control and safety protocols to minimize risk and ensure excellent outcomes

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic math skills and ability to follow recipes and instructions
Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $12.50 - $15.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and more.
