Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Medical Center-Prosper. As a Prep Recovery Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to a diverse range of patients, utilizing your strong nursing skills and excellent customer service abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Prep Recovery unit, utilizing your knowledge and skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or completion of requirements for BSN en route to MSN.
- 6 months of nursing experience.
- Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas.
- Current BLS certification.
- Advanced life support certifications (PALS, NRP, ACLS, ENPC, TNCC) may be required for various departments within 1 year of hire.
