About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious Laborer to join our Gas Crew team at Centuri Group, Inc. As a Laborer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation and maintenance of natural gas distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general labor tasks such as excavating, trenching, and shoring while working around heavy equipment.
  • Load and unload equipment and materials as needed.
  • Keep worksites clean and organized to prevent hazards.
  • Maintain all industry required Operator Qualifications.
  • Perform other tasks as requested by leadership.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong desire to learn a new trade.

Work Environment:

Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions. All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English.

Physical Demands:

  • Lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling.

Legal Requirements:

  • Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens.
  • Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify.
  • Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record is preferred.
  • Pre-employment medical fit-for-duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card.
