Job Description
As a Veterinary Medical Assistant at Windward Animal Hospital, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring the well-being of our animal patients. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting veterinarians in examinations, procedures, and surgeries, maintaining a safe and stress-free environment for our animal patients.
- Performing routine tasks such as obtaining patient histories, taking vital signs, and administering medications under the direction of veterinarians.
- Collecting and processing laboratory samples, including blood, urine, and fecal samples, for diagnostic testing.
- Maintaining accurate medical records and documenting all treatments, procedures, and observations in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
