We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Mount Sinai Health System. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our patients and staff receive high-quality meals and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise Food Service Staff: Lead and manage a team of food service employees, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting the highest standards of quality and service.
- Manage Food Service Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the food service department, including meal planning, food preparation, and inventory management.
- Ensure Food Safety and Quality: Implement and maintain food safety and quality control procedures to ensure that our patients and staff receive safe and healthy meals.
- Develop and Implement Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that our food service department is running efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, including nursing, dietary, and facilities, to ensure that our food service department is meeting the needs of our patients and staff.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this role.
- Minimum of 2 Years of Supervisory Experience: A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a food service or related field is required for this role.
