The ideal candidate for this role will provide essential electrical engineering support, contributing to technical leadership and continuous process optimization. They will play a crucial role in meeting the business objectives of the segment.
Responsibilities
Assist in coordinating third-party engineering contracting services from the scope definition phase to the close-out document phase, ensuring minimal disruption to existing processes. Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders. Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports and findings through data collection, analysis, and trend summarization. Prioritize safety, review accident/incident reports, and participate in investigations as necessary. Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and ensure accessibility for reference. Guarantee technical support for the project management group, from the feasibility study phase to the coordination of final acceptance tests, ensuring technical quality and accurate documentation after changes. Establish minimum technical requirements for equipment and system purchases or modifications, maintaining compliance with national, international, or corporate standards and incorporating emerging technologies when necessary. Lead, support, participate in, and contribute to improvement programs and project groups. Assist management in optimizing equipment quality, cost, availability, and performance. Coordinate and supervise personnel as required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Advanced English language proficiency. Strong technical writing skills. Providing technical support and consultancy to the management structure in the electrical and automation disciplines. Knowledge of power systems, NEC, NFPA 70E, design, and start-up of AC drive systems, design and programming of PLC and HMI-based control systems, and reviewing and developing P&IDs. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint).
Salary & Benefits
This full-time position offers an estimated annual salary of $90,000 - $110,000, depending on experience. Benefits include 401(k) matching, dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance. Schedule: Monday to Friday, Work Location: In person.
