Tact Staff is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a rewarding opportunity in Michigan.

About the Job

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Alpena Regional Medical Center, a 139-licensed-bed hospital located in northeast Michigan. As a travel Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for administering medications, performing various types of therapeutic modalities and diagnostic testing for and of the cardiopulmonary system, responding to arrest and emergency situations, and providing CPR and life support systems.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in critical care, ER, or Med/Surg settings, with expertise in EKGs on nights and weekends, responding to Rapid Response alerts and Code Blues, and recent traveler experience. A strong skillset in patient assessment, ventilator management, and oxygen therapy is also essential.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with tax-free stipend amounts to be determined. Our employees enjoy a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A current RRT license and BLS certification (AHA)
  • ACLS certification (AHA)
  • State license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Michigan
