Job Summary

As a Relief Driver at Baker Commodities, you will be responsible for the safe and timely operation of commercial vehicles and equipment to collect, transport, and deliver company products. This role will involve working in the trap & interceptor pumping services while supporting grease collection and animal by-products services.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order
* Collect delivery instructions and verify routes
* Drive assigned vehicles on designated routes
* Follow safety procedures for transporting goods
* Report vehicle defects, accidents, or damage

Requirements

* Valid Class A or B CDL and current DOT medical card
* 2 years of commercial vehicle driving experience with an acceptable MVR
* Ability to read and speak English as required by Federal Motor Carrier Department
* Knowledge of transportation and safety principles for moving goods by road

Physical Demands

* Remain seated while operating vehicle
* Ascend/descend in and out of vehicle and on equipment
* Communicate with co-workers, customers, and supervisors
