New York, New York, United States Tarro Full time

About Tarro:

We are a hyper-growth tech company that empowers small brick and mortar restaurants by liberating them of the operational burden of running their business. Our multi-product ecosystem offers AI-enabled order taking, delivery enablement, payment solutions, and point-of-sale software.

We use a combination of technology and people to solve real-world problems facing small business owners. Our customers' success is our top priority, and we work backwards from there.

The restaurant industry in the US is a $1 trillion total addressable market, but remains relatively underserved by technology. We believe that small restaurant owners deserve access to the same technologies at an affordable price.

Tarro has been profitable for nearly a decade and has seen 5x revenue growth in the last three years. We were valued at $450M in our last fundraising round and have since seen substantial growth across customer acquisition, product development, and company headcount.

We are proud to be named one of Built In's top companies to work for in 2023. Our diverse workforce is paramount to our success, and we welcome talent from all backgrounds.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an intellectually curious and driven finance professional to help build the foundation of our Go to Market Finance function. The strategic finance team at Tarro is building a world-class financial forecasting, planning, reporting, and analysis motion, and you will be a core part of that effort.

You will join a small but growing team and will interact directly with cross-functional groups and executive leadership. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a business-critical function in a hyper-growth tech company, using a usage-based revenue model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive accurate company revenue forecasts by analyzing key metrics and proactively digging into the details
  • Develop insights about drivers of performance and risks, and opportunities
  • Communicate revenue forecast and actual performance effectively to finance leadership
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing on their bookings and revenue forecasting process
  • Support Investor Relations with reporting of and insights from key company performance metrics
  • Develop new content for telling the company's story to the investor community for earnings calls and analyst day
  • Leverage and improve current systems to increase productivity and accuracy

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred. MBA or other advanced degree a plus.
  • Experience in corporate finance, equity research, investment banking, or related fields
  • Experience with a fast-growing SaaS company and ability to demonstrate a strong grasp of the SaaS business model
  • High proficiency in Excel - building financial and decision support models
  • Experience with financial systems such as Hyperion, Cognos, Business Objects, SAP, Anaplan, or Netsuite
  • Self-starter that adapts well to change in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace
  • Analytical prowess, strategic thinking, and detail-oriented
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written

What We Offer:

Tarro is committed to hiring the best team to empower small businesses to thrive. We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $120,000 and a dynamic work environment that values diversity and inclusion.
