Automotive Refinisher

We are seeking a detail-oriented Automotive Refinisher to join our team at EBlock Corp.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles sent to the Detail Shop are cleaned and detailed to sale condition according to customer specifications and Auction standards.

• Inspect and Verify Quality: Examine visually and by touch if necessary, to ensure that the quality of detail/reconditioning work performed is in accordance with customer specifications and contract standards.
• Clean and Detail Interiors: Remove debris, inspect and clean ashtrays, dashboards, panels, vinyl, windows, carpets, and upholstery.
• Exterior Maintenance: Remove bugs, pre-soak, soap, rinse, and dry the vehicle, clean wheels and tires, and buff and wax the vehicle when instructed.
• Quality Control: Reject vehicles not meeting standards and return to the detail shop for a redo, generate appropriate reports, and re-inspect problem vehicles to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintenance of Work Areas: Ensure wash bays and other work areas are cleaned at the end of the day and throughout if necessary.
• Vehicle Movement: Drive vehicles in and out of the wash bay, drive through auction lanes on sale day.

• Related Experience: Preferred but not required
• Valid Driver's License: Required with a safe driving record
• Driving Skills: Ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles preferred
• Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
• Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented and organized
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and vision abilities including depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and ability to see at close range

• Competitive Salary: $15.00 per hour (base pay), plus discretionary bonuses or commission payments
