Pacific Companies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Pulmonologist to join our team for an exciting locum tenens opportunity in the Dallas area. This role offers flexibility and variety, allowing you to choose between outpatient and inpatient services.

Overview

This dynamic position involves working with patients who require consultative care, focusing on diagnosing and treating conditions such as allergies, asthma, cystic fibrosis, lung transplants, and pulmonary hypertension. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and maintain a high level of professionalism.

The hourly compensation for this opportunity is negotiable, based on factors such as proximity, availability, experience, and responsibilities. Emergency privileges are also available to qualified professionals with a clear background check.

Outpatient Services
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with a maximum of 8 hours per day (part-time schedules may be considered)
  • Patients: 6 new patients and 4-14 follow-up patients per day
  • No weekend or call duties
Inpatient Services
  • Schedule: Flexible block coverage (tailored to your preference)
  • Shift: 7am to 7pm or 12-hour shifts
  • Patients: 10-12 patients per day
  • Scope: Consults only, no hospital admissions (hospitalist coverage available 24/7)
