Job Description

We are seeking an Office Assistant to support our team at Giddings Machine Company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling incoming calls and other communications.
  • Taking and entering phone orders from customers.
  • Managing filing systems and maintaining documents.
  • Recording information as needed.
  • Updating paperwork and performing general office duties.
  • Assisting with client reception and maintaining office equipment.
  • Creating and entering information into databases.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or associate's degree.
  • Experience with equipment and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under limited supervision.
  • Valid driver's license.

Giddings Machine Company is a small OEM manufacturer of soil exploration equipment. We manufacture a wide variety of small drilling machines and tooling to support the soil sampling industries. We have been manufacturing and selling our equipment in all 50 states and 49 countries worldwide since the 1940s.
