Geisinger Health System is seeking a skilled Patient Access Representative to provide exceptional patient care and support. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive patient experience through effective communication, empathy, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Register patients for appointments and accurately verify demographics.
- Coordinate front-line office activities to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Communicate financial obligations to patients and collect fees as necessary.
- Process multi-channel messages related to patient and/or physician requests.
- Abide by organizational and HIPAA guidelines, maintaining patient confidentiality and rights.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- Minimum of 1 year-Related work experience (Preferred)
