Nurse Care Specialist

As a Registered Nurse with CHRISTUS Health, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to an assigned group of patients. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
As a key member of our healthcare team, you will also provide direction and supervision to LVN/LPNs, nursing assistants, and other clinical/clerical associates. Additionally, you may be assigned as a charge nurse for the unit, overseeing daily operations and ensuring that patient care is delivered in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide high-quality patient care to an assigned group of patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Provide direction and supervision to LVN/LPNs, nursing assistants, and other clinical/clerical associates
- May be assigned as a charge nurse for the unit
Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- BLS Required
- RN License in State of Texas or Compact required
Work Type: Per Diem As Needed
