Job Summary:

The Advanced Imaging Specialist will perform high-quality breast imaging procedures under the general supervision of a radiologist. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience and possess strong communication skills to provide excellent patient care.

About the Role:

This position involves performing advanced breast imaging procedures, such as stereotactic biopsies and ultrasound-guided biopsies, on ambulatory and hospital patients. The successful candidate will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality breast imaging procedures, following established protocols
  • Maintain production and quality of imaging procedures
  • Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
  • Prepare patients for procedures and maintain a safe working environment
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Collaborate with engineers and physicists to optimize equipment performance

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited program in radiologic technology or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in mammography or related field
  • Certifications: BLS, MRT (Medical Radiologic Technologist), ARRT-M (Mammography) and ARRT-R (Radiography)
