Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues with diesel engines, as well as providing preventative maintenance services.
About the Job:
As a Diesel Mechanic, you will work in a fast-paced environment and interact with customers and drivers from all over the country. You will troubleshoot and repair problems with wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, air conditioning, and engine components. Additionally, you will provide roadside services to customers and assist with fleet maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines
- Provide preventative maintenance services, including oil changes and tire rotations
- Assist customers with roadside services, such as jump-starts and fuel delivery
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
To be successful as a Diesel Mechanic, you must have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance. You should also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
