At Oaks Senior Living, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill the role of Senior Living Care Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with seniors and making a positive impact on their lives.

Job Overview

This position is responsible for assisting the Wellness Director in maintaining resident medication and medical records according to policy and state regulations. Additionally, you will provide administrative support to the Executive Director with various duties.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in checking new cycles of medications every 14 days and maintaining med carts every 2 weeks.
  • Daily check of medication reorder sheet and ordering oxygen & oxygen supplies as needed.
  • Weekly MAR audits and communicate results to the Wellness Director.
  • Executing medication changes for residents from doctor's appointments, including faxing orders to pharmacies and updating resident records.
  • Send copies of MAR and medical appointment forms with residents when they go to doctor's appointments.

Must be in good standing with the CNA/CMA registry.

Administrative Responsibilities
  • Assist at the front desk greeting guests/residents, vendors, and deliveries.
  • Answer phone calls and conduct orientation for new hires.
  • Maintain continuing education unit (CEU) records and schedule CEU classes monthly.
  • Track CPR/First Aid certification and assist with auditing employee files.
  • Care staff scheduling and shift changes.
  • Replenish copies of forms (shower/laundry/pager logs).
  • Take on-call weekends and assist with tours as needed.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A satisfactory criminal record check and physical exam by a licensed physician are required.
  • Negative drug screen and CPR/First Aid certification are also necessary.
  • Dress professionally and communicate effectively with residents, families, supervisors, and colleagues.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds and complete tasks involving walking, standing, reaching, pushing, and grasping.
  • Understand risk of exposure to infectious waste, disease, chemicals, solutions, and disinfectants.
  • Be able to react in emergency situations.
Estimated Salary

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
