This is a full-time position that will be based in Kansas City, MO. The salary for this position is estimated to be around $134,000 per year, based on national averages and cost of living considerations.

Job Description

The Aviation Safety Program Manager will serve as a key member of our safety management team, responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of safety programs across multiple facilities. This includes:

  • Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures;
  • Conducting regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Providing training and guidance to staff on safety best practices;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address safety risks.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as aviation safety or a related engineering discipline;
  • At least 5 years of experience in aviation safety, with a strong focus on program management;
  • Proven experience with safety management systems (SMS) and regulatory compliance;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
