Job DescriptionRole Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to work within a school environment, delivering essential occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs and abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct Assessments: Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' functional abilities and needs within the school environment.
  • Develop Treatment Plans: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals to address students' occupational therapy needs.
  • Provide Direct Therapy: Provide direct therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based interventions and techniques.
  • Collaborate with Staff: Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to enhance students' progress and functional skills.
  • Document Progress: Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
Qualifications
  • Education: Hold a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Possess current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a school-based setting is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
