Aspire Bakeries is a leading North American baking company with a strong presence in the specialty frozen baked goods market. We are seeking a skilled Rheon Relief Operator to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control the Rheon Line to ensure optimal production and quality.
  • Coordinate and assign tasks to subordinates to meet production targets and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Verify the texture of the dough and ensure that product units develop as expected through the processing system.
  • Communicate effectively with subordinates and supporting departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Document line checks accurately and timely to maintain quality control records.
  • Assure that scheduled budgeted pounds are completed while maintaining waste control.
  • Continually monitor controls to ensure that the product is to specifications.
  • Set and verify that the process line control parameters are to specifications.
  • Assure that flour dusters are maintained and filled at all times.
  • Monitor the number of batch containers on the floor to be processed to assure they do not exceed the line capacity.
  • Continually monitor line subordinates to ensure they are performing job tasks to quality specifications and standards.
  • Verify that targeted units per proofer trays are to target specifications.
  • Assure that mechanical line moving parts are functioning as expected. Report any malfunctioning or potential mechanical failures to the supervisor.
  • Assure that the Rheon Line, and workstations, are maintained clean, organized, and safe for work.
  • Assure that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) are adhered to by employees.
  • Continually communicates with Lead Baker on dough conditions and quantity.
  • Record quality control checks accurately and timely.
  • Continually weighs units to ensure the product is within weight specifications.
  • Ensure that all data entries are entered correctly and accurately for SAP reporting
  • Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
  • Works to maintain and improve the quality, legality, and safety of each product and the processes used in their manufacture.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Preferred.
  • Ability to function consistently within expected standards of operation, handling multiple tasks, executing job functions with interruptions, prioritizing job tasks, and dealing effectively with challenges and employees.
  • Perform job functions with minimal supervision.
  • Execute sound decisions when confronted with processing, mechanical, or personnel challenges.
  • Basic knowledge of GMP's and Lockout/Tagout Procedures. Basic effective verbal and written skills (English).
  • Basic math skills (Adding-Subtraction-Multiplication-Division). Perform well under pressure and processing time constraints.
  • Ability to be precise and clear in giving instructions and directions to subordinates.
Shift

3rd (10:00 pm - 6:30 am *must work weekends)
