Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Director of Civil Engineering to join our team in California. As a key member of our leadership team, you will oversee project performance, client satisfaction, and strategic planning sessions with top California leadership.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish divisional goals and growth strategies for nationwide PBK offices
  • Maintain a strong culture of client service and innovation within the civil group
  • Ensure thorough QA/QC review processes for all projects
  • Participate in state-wide strategic planning sessions
  • Monitor project performance standards and efficiency
  • Manage financial performance of the division, including staffing and profitability

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must be a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of California or acquire licensing within 3 months of hiring. You should have:

  • 15+ years of professional experience in engineering, including management experience
  • Extension experience working in site and land development
  • A client-oriented personality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
