Job Summary:

As a Loss Prevention Agent at Uniqlo Co., Ltd., you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe shopping environment for all customers and employees. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring the security and integrity of our stores.

Key Responsibilities:

Train store team members on loss prevention and safety policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance from all store teams and notifying store management/Loss Prevention Manager of any violations.
Ensure LP team can successfully identify, apprehend, and detain shoplifters by following company guidelines.
Build productive relationships with store leadership teams and associates.
Lead associate awareness efforts and generate leads pertaining to internal investigations.
Focus on the importance of proper inventory management, investigating issues, and educating teams on proper procedures.
Ensure compliance and understanding of shortage reduction strategies.
Work with leadership to strengthen LP culture.
Partner with LP Manager to ensure compliance of company policy and procedure.
Inspect compliance to company safety policy and procedures through store visits and provide direction and training to ensure opportunities are identified and corrected.
Identify safety or loss risks, immediately notifying store and loss prevention management to prevent accidents.
Support loss prevention management with audits and inventory counts.
Ensure full confidentiality at all times.
Assist with special projects, as assigned.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of computer applications, including Security Software, CCTV equipment, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local law.
Knowledge of surveillance/security equipment and installations.
Ability to travel to stores within assigned areas.
Must be able to work for extended periods of standing or walking the sales floor as required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for long periods of time, read computer terminals, push, pull, or move objects of at least 50lbs.
Ability to effectively maneuver around sales floors and stockrooms, repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing.

Availability Requirements:

Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets business needs, including nights, evenings, and weekends.
Average 32 or more hours per week based on business seasonality.
Open availability on weekends (religious exemptions will be considered).
Restrictions on availability limited to two days per week.

Compensation:

$25.00 per hour.
The offered salary or salary range is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills, and expertise, and location of the position.
