Cardiorenal Sales Specialist
The Cardiorenal Sales Specialist is accountable for implementing sales strategies for approved Cardiorenal products consistent with Bayer's compliance standards and applicable legal requirements for targeted Health Care Providers (HCPs) and hospital systems within an assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Builds and develops professional relationships with cardiology, nephrology, endocrinology, primary care, and pharmacy staff within assigned customers;
- Drives appropriate utilization of approved Cardiovascular products, working closely with other Bayer commercial associates to generate pull-through within local payers and community HCPs;
- Leverages knowledge of diabetes, nephrology, and CVD, the marketplace, and cross-functional activities/plans to anticipate and effectively manage business opportunities and challenges;
- Provides relevant input to commercial colleagues on strategic and tactical planning for territory, area, and region;
- Develops and implements effective customer-specific territory plans with Regional Sales Managers, communicating insights to internal stakeholders;
- Prioritizes time and effort to ensure optimal coverage of physician specialists based on opportunity and potential;
- Understands customers' product and business needs, working to meet those needs while adhering to Bayer's ethics and compliance standards;
- Anticipates potential barriers to goal achievement and proposes responsible solutions for success;
- Effectively handles customer objections and exceeds customer expectations with the value brought to Physicians.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required;
- Experience in healthcare or a relatable sales environment;
- Proven track record of high performance and customer obsession;
- Ability to foster an environment promoting ethical behavior and compliance with company policies and laws;
- Quick learning agility, with a curiosity and savviness to come up to speed on the product and industry;
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills;
- Strong analytical and computer capabilities;
- Valid Driver's License and eligibility to drive a company car or pooled vehicle.
Bayer offers a competitive salary range of $106,100 to $160,100, with additional compensation including a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.
