Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at GFL Environmental. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance inspections, diagnosing and repairing equipment, and rebuilding major components for our production machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance inspections to identify potential issues and prevent equipment failures
  • Diagnose and repair complex equipment and machinery
  • Rebuild and refurbish major components to extend equipment lifespan
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of production machinery

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs and procedures
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights
