About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing front-desk support for clinical intake operations, including maintaining files, processing documents, and ensuring timely completion of intake tasks. Additionally, they will assist with scheduling appointments, responding to patient inquiries, and maintaining confidentiality on sensitive matters.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains organized files and ensures up-to-date information to facilitate efficient retrieval.
  • Processes incoming and outgoing documents, completes forms accurately, and secures necessary signatures.
  • Assists with scheduling appointments, responds to patient inquiries, and maintains a professional demeanor.
  • Monitors intake work queue for timely completion and refers patients to relevant departments as needed.
  • Maintains cooperative relationships with physicians, nurses, and office staff.
  • TYPES routine materials neatly and accurately, ensuring clear and legible communication.
  • Answers patient questions to ensure understanding and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High School diploma required; three years of relevant medical clerical experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills required.
  • Light, accurate keyboarding skills essential.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of computer-based scheduling and appointment programs.
  • Excellent telephone skills and prior physician practice experience.

Salary Information
