Materials Manager

We are seeking a talented Materials Manager to lead our supply chain efforts in Beatrice, NE.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in aftermarket automotive parts, with a strong background in MRP and exposure to PleXX software.

This role offers a competitive pay rate up to $120k DOE.

• Develop and implement material planning and inventory management strategies to improve operational performance.
• Create and maintain policies, processes, and procedures to ensure efficient inventory management.
• Conduct regular reviews to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure minimal operational disruption.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the overall business strategy and annual budget process.
• Lead the development and maintenance of material and production planning policies and procedures.
• Oversee inventory integrity and implement initiatives to reduce inventory levels.
• Ensure that IT systems are effective, accurate, and well-maintained, identifying opportunities to standardize and streamline processes.

• Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in a leadership/management role within a manufacturing facility, with automotive/aftermarket manufacturing experience required.
• Previous experience in leading material/production planning and inventory management within an automotive or manufacturing environment, with expert knowledge of automotive processes, components, and supply chain management in an aftermarket and OE environment.

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline, or a combination of education and experience.
• Lean Certification, Six Sigma Greenbelt/Black Belt, and APICS Certification are preferred.
