Key Responsibilities
  • Anesthesia Administration: Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
  • Patient Monitoring: Continuously monitor and manage patients' vital signs throughout anesthesia, ensuring safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Care Planning: Develop individualized anesthesia care plans through thorough pre-anesthesia assessments.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing staff to deliver coordinated patient care.
  • Post-Anesthesia Care: Provide recovery care, monitoring patients' progress and addressing any complications.
Qualifications
  • CRNA Certification: Hold current and valid Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification.
  • Licensure: Possess a current and valid Maine state license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Skills: Demonstrate a strong understanding of anesthesia techniques and patient monitoring.
  • Communication: Exhibit excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Critical Thinking: Show the ability to work effectively in high-stress situations and make quick decisions.
