Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as a member of the President's Council, providing high-level strategic guidance on resource allocation and fiscal planning.
  • Leading all aspects of fiscal management, including budget development, revenue projections, asset management, and audit compliance.
  • Overseeing the preparation and presentation of financial reports for the President, Executive Vice President, and other stakeholders.
  • Directing investment activities for the university's endowment, trusts, annuities, and operating funds, ensuring compliance and optimal returns.
  • Supervising the business office, student financial services, bookstore, physical plant, and human resource functions, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Ensuring adherence to GAAP and other regulatory guidelines and managing risk through appropriate insuring and oversight.
  • Providing financial analysis and support for planning and information technology initiatives.

Qualifications include a Master's degree in business administration, public administration, accounting, finance, or a related discipline, and a minimum of ten years of progressively responsible financial and administrative management experience, preferably within an educational or similar non-profit environment.
