Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer II to join our team in developing and maintaining software applications in support of KLDiscovery's family of products and services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in research, development, and maintenance of software applications.

About the Role

  • Research and develop new software solutions to meet business needs
  • Create automation for both platform tests and upgrade procedures
  • Test, refine, and document software applications
  • Support bug fixes and implement enhancements to applications in Production
  • Develop automated test suites, including unit tests, functional tests, and regression tests
  • Create design and user documentation as needed
  • Utilize, communicate and enforce coding standards
  • Seek and participate in personal development opportunities to maintain a detailed knowledge of industry standards, engineering best practices, and business needs
  • Provide Technical Support - bug fixes and implement enhancements to applications in Production within defined SLA
  • Work in a team or with multiple organizational departments in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment
  • Adhere to development processes and workflows

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related scientific field preferred
  • 3+ years of related experience preferred
  • Experience with Azure or other cloud development platforms a plus but not required
  • Experience with Docker or other container technology is a plus but not required
  • Capable of problem identification and resolutions
  • Ability to learn from others and adapt to standards
  • Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Understands various programming languages including C#, SQL, Angular/TypeScript, etc.
  • Knowledge of client/server and internet systems architectures
  • Ability to work in a team or with multiple organizational departments in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to pass a background check upon offer

Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
