Data Entry Specialist for Healthcare Insurance

About the Role
PacificSource is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of data entry processes, supporting the Group Processing function.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Entry: Accurately enter data into multiple system applications, including OnBase, Facets, and PSE, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Group Material Preparation: Prepare new group materials, change requests, and renewal changes for small fully insured groups, adhering to established guidelines and procedures.
- Census and Cross-Reference: Generate census and cross-reference member information on master applications with final proposal censuses.
- Plan Materials Creation: Create and distribute plan materials according to current workflow processes.
- Tracking and Verification: Track group processing status in PSE and verify appointed producers, entering relevant data in Facets.
- Continuous Improvement: Develop and update procedures, job aids, and lessons as needed, providing essential QA testing of new processes or updates.
Requirements
- Work Experience: Minimum one year of related experience in the healthcare industry required, with strong keyboarding and Excel skills.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for an Associate's Degree in business or healthcare, or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge and Competencies: Ability to understand and interpret state and federal insurance laws, remaining current on PacificSource procedures, policies, products, and contracts, with excellent verbal, telephone, and written communication skills.
Working Environment
PacificSource offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment, with opportunities for growth and professional development. This position requires approximately less than 5% travel.
Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
