Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Testing Technician to join our team at TRL Systems, Inc. As a key member of our fire life safety team, you will be responsible for leading the onsite testing of fire life safety systems, including fire pumps, sprinklers, smoke control, standpipes, fire alarm systems, fire doors, pre-action, elevator recall, and others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Testing Technicians and work with facility and subcontractor teams to ensure successful testing of fire life safety devices.
  • Document device testing status, device name changes, and location changes to ensure accurate testing documentation.
  • Develop functional working plans for current testing processes.
  • Update service tickets and submit all testing documentation.
  • Accurately document test device failures.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in fire life safety testing.
  • Los Angeles Chief's Regulation 4 Certificate (Preferred).
  • High school diploma (or equivalent).
  • Valid California Driver License and proof of auto insurance.
  • Ability to work weekends, nights, split shifts, and rotating shifts (if needed).
