Job Title: Master Baker - Quality Food Production Specialist

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Master Baker to join our team at Great Western Restaurants, Inc. dba Golden Corral. As a key member of our food production team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods and desserts that meet our customers' expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Food Production: Prepare hand-made yeast rolls, cakes, pies, specialty desserts, and other baked items according to our recipes and standards.
  • Breakfast Bakery Items: Prepare breakfast bakery items on weekends to meet production needs.
  • Buffet Production System: Complete use and following of the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance.
  • Product Freshness: Ensure that every product in the bakery is always fresh, tasty, visually appealing, and hot, when appropriate.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; baking experience preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods; lifting and carrying heavy objects required
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions
